We've beaten the Silver Eye Mercenaries to Egypt, but they can't be far behind. Two nearby villages were recently abandoned. I wonder why?

3rd Quest
Head northwest through the crate and coloured pegs, as you hammer the second peg 2 dung beetles will appear by the cobra's and buried scorpions. Two pegs behind you will pop up again, the scorpions are undisturbed so kill the first cobra and the dung beetle that got trapped.
Head north to kill the second cobra and break an encrusted scarab to get at the horned beetle. Take care of another dung beetle, plug up the scorpion holes and keep going northwest through bushes to get at the next horned beetle.
Hammer the peg and there are 3 cobras so place some cobra poison then lure them into it, there is also one scorpion and 2 dung beetles but they should trap themselves. Investigate the glyph wall then push the block and break a crate to get another horned beetle.
There is a hidden cave here as well. Return to the center area and rather than push the block hack the bush in front of it. Go around it and hammer your way to the next cobra and scorpion hole, the dung beetle should be trapped so hammer more pegs to go northeast.
Inside the 1st Hidden Cave
When you get through the pegs one cobra will need to be taken care of then place some cobra poison to take care of the other 3 cobra's and plug more scorpion holes.
There are 2 more dung beetles and the sooner you can take them out the better, if needed you could use a gadget (such as spider bait) to trap them. Investigate the Anubis statue then make your way north through the next horned beetle and more pegs. Coloured pegs rise behind you when you hammer the same colour.
There are 2 more dung beetles so try to get them quickly or it means more digging but you do need to collect some dung as you go. Investigate the statue and glyph wall. Hammer the pegs back down to exit and head south through more colored pegs to take out 2 more dung beetles and a cobra.
Go east through a rock and some sand, then hammer some more pegs and hack a bush. There are 2 more dung beetles and 2 cobra's, take care of them and then if you want, break a rock and crate to get at the paleo site.(not one of the quests)
Hammer the coloured pegs and go northeast kill the first cobra and place some more cobra poison. You can fry some of the cobra's with the vents if you place the poison close to the vent. If you place scorpion poison in the square vent area you can fry more scorpions than one poison can kill.
Plug up the scorpion holes and investigate the statue, then head east through some more pegs if you want the blue pyramids. You will need to go east through bushes, encrusted scarabs and rocks to get the next statue then move south through the pegs and push block.
You will encounter more dung beetles and scorpions, once you take care of them hammer through the pegs, push the block far enough to access the dynamite rock and got through sand and hammer a peg to access the statue then head out avoiding contact with any critters. Hang a right through the pegs and plug those scorpion holes after taking care of some more dung beetles.
Now rather than going through the rocks go through the bushes and hire to deal with the hiding scorpion and horned beetle. Go through the pegs and then hammer the peg in front of the buried blue pyramid hang a left and right to gather the other two. There is no need to push blocks here just go through the bushes and use some dynamite and take care of a cobra to get to the glyph wall. If you still need gold nuggets from dung the hidden cave here is a good place to get some more.
Inside the 2nd cave:
Heading back out we move to the last area where there will be lots of scorpions and dung beetles to deal with to get to the last glyph walls and the visage. You will now have released all scorpions from holes you didn't plug and the giant scorpion. Bear traps or poison won't work on him cause he doesn't move.
Now it's time to head all the way back to the truck through whatever pegs went back up and the scorpions that were released. The area with the four vents is a good place to place to kill the scorpions so hopefully you placed some poison inside. Use the vents to kill any remaining scorpions in this area. Make your way to the truck and use it. If all the quests have been fulfilled then you are done.
